MedicineWhile attending Huntsville High School, Gary spent three years studying medicine at the Huntsville Center for Technology where he dreamed of becoming a forensic pathologist. In addition to being a home health aid and medical laboratory assistant, Wright served as elected leadership for Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) at the local, district, and state level. In 1989, Gary was recognized for his achievements by a resolution of the Huntsville City Council.
Without the financial resources to attend college, Wright was forced to abandon his dreams of medical school. |
