The Wright Perspective™ BlogSocial Commentary from the C-Suite to Main Street™The Wright Perspective™ is a daily blog by Gary Wright II. Gary speaks openly and honestly about many of the current events which touch our lives. The blog covers a variety of topics ranging from human rights activism to social commentary. CherokeePride.orgGary Wright II is a former member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama. Mr. Wright is the author of CherokeePride.org which explores the history and culture of the Cherokee / Tsalagi Native Americans. Take a virtual tour of the historical site of New Echota, Georgia. It was in New Echota that the Cherokee Nation was first divided during the Indian removal process and it became the starting point of the infamous Trail of Tears. Thousands of Native Americans died along the brutal journey through North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and finally to a federal reservation in Oklahoma. Nearly a century has now passed, yet the Cherokee brothers and sisters still haven't healed the festering wounds created by the tragedy that transpired in the little Cherokee town of New Echota. Visit CherokeePride.org to explore historic Cherokee sites and learn about the culture of the Tsalagi Native Americans.
