Boycott - a refusal to have dealings with an organization in order to express disapproval

I have a boycott policy against Red Lobster

Red Lobster was added to my boycott list due to poor customer service.

I love seafood, and for many years I enjoyed dining at Red Lobster. One day after helping a friend move, we decided to stop for lunch at the Red Lobster on Pratt in Huntsville, AL. We arrived after the lunch rush, but before they staffed up for the evening. We had worked very hard that day, so we were in casual clothes and probably looked a little rough. They hid us at a table as far away as possible, which should have been the first sign it wasn't going to be a good experience. It took twenty minutes before the waitresss offerred us our drinks. My friend ordered a cocktail and I ordered sweet tea. We had been there forty minutes before they delivered the two drinks and before they offered to take our order. We could tell by the color of the drink that my friends cocktail wasn't even close to what he ordered. We were so thirsty, that my friend took a few sips from his drink while waiting for service. The waitress said she wouldn't replace the drink because he had drank from it. She talked down to us and refused to replace his drink. We finally asked for a manager, who waited twenty minutes to respond to our complaint. He also had a bad attitude and treated us like we were two winos in there trying to scam free drinks from them. He refused to take the drink off of the bill so we paid for the two drinks and left before our food ever arrived.

The lesson here is to never judge someone by their appearance. We both looked a little rough that day, but for all they knew we could have both been millionaires. By looking down on your customers, you may lose a lot more than just one sale!
