![]() Boycott - a refusal to have dealings with an organization in order to express disapproval I have a boycott policy against the Echota Cherokee Tribe of AlabamaJoin me in a boycott and protests against the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama for the recent tribal council's decision to discriminate against members who are gay, lesbian, or not Christians. In addition to the discrimination issues, this tribe has been ruled a fraudulent Cherokee tribe by all three legitimate Cherokee tribes. See the Cherokee Nation web site for details. Under United States law, this group is not recognized as a valid Native American tribe. Under Cherokee law, this tribe also does not exist. In fact, at a joint council of the Cherokee Nation and the Eastern Band of Cherokees, a resolution was passed that denies recognition to any group other than the three legal Cherokee tribes. By collecting membership dues and using the name "Cherokee Tribe", this group is deceptive and committing fraud against it's members. For the latest information on this matter, please visit and bookmark the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama page at CherokeePride.org. Thank You, -- Gary Wright II |

"You don't get to choose who you love, but you do get to choose who you hate. Hating on the haters just doubles the hate. If you replace all of your hatred with love, the hate is canceled out and the world stays in balance. Choose love and no more hate!"
