Boycott - a refusal to have dealings with an organization in order to express disapproval

I have a boycott policy against CVS Pharmacies

CVS Pharmacies were added to my boycott list due to poor customer service.

I suffer from a rare myopathy (muscle disease) and there is no cure. The only treatment option I have is to try to control the constant pain that is caused by this disease.

Before I became eligible to receive medical benefits from the Veterans Administration, my civilian doctor would write a prescription for pain medicine and I had to take it to a local pharmacy to get the prescription filled.

Being in constant pain and forced to use a wheelchair, each trip to the pharmacy was a huge undertaking, and usually an unpleasant event. CVS lost my business because they constantly treated me as if I was just a drug addict trying to obtain narcotics from them. They would frequently be rude and unhelpful to me. Many times they would make we wait in the store for over a half-hour only to say they didn't have the medication in stock. I would usually ask them to call other CVS pharmacies in the area to see if they had my medication in stock, but they always refused. They would act like I was being an inconvenience to them, and they always refused to help me locate my medicine. I was forced to travel from pharmacy to pharmacy until I could find one that had my medication in stock.

One day when I visited the CVS on Druid Hills, a grumpy old pharmacist told me I was being a pain to him. I replied, "If you don't want my business - I will just go somewhere else." to which he replied, "Yeah, we get a lot of bad business from Mr. Wright - so why don't you do that..."

He didn't have to tell me twice - I gave all of my business to their competitor Walgreens and organized this boycott!
