Why you should NEVER talk to the police!Saturday, June 21st, 2008I have a friend who is a top criminal defense attorney. One day, we were talking about life lessons that everyone should know. He told me about a conversation he had with his mentor when he first started practicing law. In his mentor's office, there was a very large bass mounted on the wall. One day his mentor noticed him staring up at the big fish. His mentor told him something that I will never forget. He said, "See that big fish up there? He can teach you a very good lesson: If he had kept his mouth shut, he would have never gotten caught!!!" Someone recently posted a very good video, and I would like to pass it on. The video is a lecture being given at a law school. It is divided into two parts, the first being given by a defense attorney, the last half is a police officer. The lecture is about why you should NEVER talk to the police. The attorney talks very fast, so I encourage you to find an hour to watch the video where you will not be distracted or interrupted. The first half: Part 1 The last half: Part 2 I hope this helps someone! -- Gary Wright II |

"If ever we find ourselves with nothing in common, let us start by remembering that we all look up at the exact same moon. Our common ground is right there in the sky. Let's start at the moon, and then work our way back down to earth."
