Media Coverage of VA Tech Convocation was disgustingTuesday, April 17, 2007I am angry at the media who covered the VA Tech memorial today. This should have been a private time for the families and friends. If they had just shown the stage and ceremony, then I would have been okay with it - but they spent all of their time zooming in on the crying youth in the audience. Sensationalism sells - but this was a disgusting and unforgivable act. Another writer said it best with "Welcome to Baghdad!" - because this happens two or three times a day in Iraq. I hope everyone will give these people some space and some time to heal! |
