US Army tries to get dead soldiers to re-enlistSaturday, January 06, 2007We all know the US military is stretched thin, but the Army has made a mistake that can't be forgiven. The Army sent a letter to over 5000 soldiers who had recently left the military. The purpose of the letter was to get the soliders to return to active duty. Unfortunately, the letter went out to almost 100 soliders who had been killed in action, and to 200 soldiers who had been wounded in action. The Army says they will apologize to the families, but there is no excuse for such a horrible mistake.
